Families turn out in force for the ParentFolk Weekender Manchester.

Parentfolk and littlefolk turned out in force for The ParentFolk Weekender, the LUXE Edition.

The sell-out event took place on Saturday 14th April with over 600 parents and littlefolk rocking up to Victoria Baths for ParentFolk’s alternative family social.
The event sponsored by independent kids and lifestyle brand, Modern Little People, brought together music and a family rave from The Playhouse Project, a host of complimentary arts and crafts, food and refreshments with a bar takeover from Love Thy Neighbour, Beauty pop ups from Harvey Nichols Manchester, and a hot handpicked line up of independent brands showcasing their latest collections.

Speaking about the Manchester ParentFolk Weekender, event sponsor Leonie Fisher of Modern Little People said: “For us it’s not an option to miss the weekenders we absolutely love the vibe Parentfolk bring and when we heard it was pitching up on our home turf we certainly couldn’t say no. They’re our kindred spirit and we hope we’ll be involved in many more weekenders to come.”

It was the first time independent print brand Bear Four Studio had traded at a ParentFolk event. Lindsay Kelly, owner of Bearfour said “the weekender was exactly the type of event we wanted to do when we thought up the Bearfour brand.”

The Manchester weekender was the first event of 2018, following on from the Chester and Liverpool weekender’s last year.

Nic Spindler, Founder of ParentFolk said: “It was great to take the ParentFolk Weekender concept to Manchester, and wonderful to see the event so well attended. I would personally  like to thank  everyone one came along on the day, including the wonderful brands and businesses who collaborated with us. This was our third regional weekender event, and it was clear to see that parents have fully embraced the unique all-inclusive activities ticket concept we offer. As a mother of four myself, it’s important to me that families can experience this modern and alternative family social event, where littlefolk can be entertained without continuously asking for a stream of spends for face art, crafts and activities. We’re gearing up now for our biggest event to date, as we prepare to take the weekender to the Wirral this summer.”
