This year, the week-long Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod will come to a close with Llanfest on Sunday 8th July, which will see multi-platinum indie pop legends, Kaiser Chiefs top the bill at the finale. To celebrate this closing party, ParentFolk is giving you a chance to win a pair of tickets to the festival!
Five lucky runners up will also be selected to receive a Family Ticket, which will give two adults and three children access to the field and iconic Pavilion for a whole day of fun on Saturday 7th July.
There will be a whole host of family fun on offer during these celebrations, including children’s choir competitions, crafts, circus skills, stilt walkers, NSPCC workshops and much more, set to take place ‘On the Field’ – the festival’s uniquely family-orientated playground.
Kaiser Chiefs who have enjoyed two UK number one albums during their career, will provide an electrifying finale as they perform classic indie hits from their extensive back catalogue including Everyday I Love You Less and Less, I Predict a Riot and Ruby. The show-stopping headliners will be supported on the main stage by renowned pop rock band Hoosiers and nineties icons Toploader.
With performances on the field from 2pm, Llanfest is a full afternoon of rock, pop and indie bands and vocalists before the headliners take to the main stage to end the festival with a bang!
Winners can also enjoy performances from the world’s most famous music club, The Cavern Club Liverpool who will host its first ever pop up stage at Llanfest. Also joining the phenomenal line-up will be sensational four-piece alternative rock ensemble; Billy Bibby and The Wry Smiles, Folk/rock singer; Ben Roberts and indie rock band; Camens.
Family Day Pass tickets do not include access to Llanfest or evening concerts.
